Amtrak crew members, from the lead locomotive, reported shots fired while the train remained stopped at the Tucson Amtrak Depot near Mile Post 984 of the Gila Subdivision in Tucson, Arizona. Tucson Police Department officers responded to the scene.
A video recorded at the station, played in news media coverage, depicts law enforcement officers, including a canine and handler, at the train when sounds of gunfire on board begin.
