Business Development Representative

Overview:

Fortify 24×7 is an Information Technology services company looking for Business Development Representatives to help in the expansion of our technology services practice and software solution sales.

Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for driving new business through local market customers (Business to Business, Business to Consumer).  As the Business Development Representative (BDR) this position is responsible for closing deals, generating pipeline and identifying prospects through cold calling, on the phone, in person, and through email.  The BDR will also be required to work with operations to ensure smooth installations.  The BDR should be skilled in understanding customer business needs via a methodical sales process.  In addition, BDR must be able to demonstrate success in selling Fortify 24×7’s services and software solutions to business owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to assess and identify customers’ current and potential Information Technology needsFortify 24x7 Team
  • Ability to position Fortify 24×7’s offerings, highlighting areas of strength and competitive advantages
  • Responsible for the entire sales process including prospecting, appointment setting, presenting, follow up, and closing deals
  • Cold calling, on the phone, over email, and in person
  • Meeting sales quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Set up appointments over the phone, in person, and through email
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Fortify 24×7’s complete product offerings

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of direct sales experience, including cold calling, presentation skills, and proven performance in closing deals.

  • Ability to team effectively at all levels of Fortify 24×7 and customer personnel (to include C-level) on a wide range of topics and issues.

Business Expertise:

  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Problem solving complex problems with little supervision

Compensation:

  • 100% commission with $5k per month bonus opportunity
  • This position is 100% work from home
